
FUZHOU, China – Newland Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen: 000997) announced on June 11, 2026 that its board has elected Hu Hu as the new chairman, succeeding Wang Jing, who voluntarily stepped down from the role.
The decision was made during the company’s 19th meeting of the 9th Board of Directors, where directors also approved the appointment of a new vice president. The company held an executive meeting the same day to communicate the board’s resolutions to senior management.
According to the stock exchange filing, Wang Jing herself proposed that board director Hu Hu assume the chairmanship and concurrently serve as the convener of the board’s Strategy Committee. Wang Jing will remain on the board as a director and continue to serve on the Strategy Committee. The board expressed its deep appreciation and high recognition for Wang Jing’s work during her tenure as chair. Following a qualification review by the Nomination Committee, the board unanimously approved Hu Hu’s election.
In a separate management change, the board appointed Chen Jisheng as vice president. The appointment was made upon the nomination of company president Hu Gang, and after the Nomination Committee’s qualification review, to meet the operational and management needs of the company.
